Dear Panoee Team,
I am writing to you as a user of your platform to suggest a technical enhancement regarding VR output.
Currently, Panoee is an excellent tool for 360° tours. However, there is an increasing demand for stereoscopic (3D) 360° support. As many modern rendering engines (for architects and designers) now offer automated stereoscopic exports (top-bottom or side-by-side), integrating this into your WebXR viewer would be a significant advantage.
Why this matters:
• Enhanced Immersion: For sectors like museums and high-end architecture, the spatial depth provided by stereoscopy is a "game changer" compared to monoscopic views.
• Technical Implementation: Since Panoee already utilizes KRpano for VR mode, the implementation of a stereo-toggle (mapping the top/bottom half of an image to the respective eye) should be relatively straightforward.
Are there any plans to support stereoscopic uploads in the near future?
The combination of your powerful tour-building features and true 3D depth would position Panoee as the leading solution in the professional VR market.
I look forward to your feedback.
Kind regards,
IB
